Description: European Recruitment Ltd is currently interviewing Senior Software Protocol Engineer (LTE, L1, C++, WCDMA) right now, this job will be delegated in England. Further informations about this job opportunity kindly see the descriptions. Our client is an exciting start-up who handles projects in the GERAN, UMTS and LTE technology arena. They are looking to extend thei! r competence portfolio for current and future customer projects.
Our client are looking for an engineer to assist in the development, maintenance and test of the GSM/UMTS/HSPA and LTE extension of protocols with particular regard to LTE L1 Control and Access Stratum layers (RRC, MAC-RLC). The role is strongly focused on excellent software development skills for fast and high quality delivery of software protocols in simulated and real environment.
Other assignments available to you would include design, development and testing of Cellular Protocol Stack and related activities and technologies.
Due to the nature of a start-up environment, flexibility is key to be able to take over engineering roles that can come up during continuation of the projects. This will be a fantastic opportunity to utilise your skills and gain even more.
Required skills include:
- Strong coding skills in ANSI C
- General knowledge of UMTS/! HSPA protocols
- Experience in LTE software development!
- Software development experience in 3G Access Stratum (WCDMA L1)
- or LTE Access Stratum (MAC, RLC, L1)
- Development experience in Layer 1 Control
