IT Support Technician Location: Oldham, England Description: Recruitment Genius is in need of IT Support Technician right now, this occupation will be settled in England. More details about this occupation opportunity kindly read the description below. We are looking for an experienced Microsoft IT Technician to join a well established IT Support company. This is a varied role and the successful candidate will be working in a team which provides con! sultancy services and both Remote and On-Site support for their clients. You will be involved in the design and implementation of new systems, as well as responding to helpdesk support calls. Responsibilities: • They will have responsibility for some of their services and they will need to report back on a monthly basis and resolve any issues that arise over that time. • Assist in the design and implementation of new Server Installations and Migrations. • Generation of new business is ongoing and is something that they all do during the normal day to day activities. • Responsible for their allocated client tasks and must see them through to completion and ensure clients have continuous feedback as to how they are progressing. Essential Skills and Experience: • Microsoft Operating Systems up to and including Windows 8 and Server 2012 • Working knowledge of Microsoft SBS 2003 and 2011 VMWare and associated technologies • Have worked with,! and be comfortable with, Active Directory and Group Policies • Be familiar with DSL and Fibre Broadband connections, routers and firewalls • Efficient in fault finding techniques All candidates must have excellent customer facing skills, be well presented and have a professional telephone manner. As the role will involve client visits, a clean and current UK driving license is required. - .
