Design Engineer

Location: Staines, England
Description: Wilcock Consulting is presently looking of Design Engineer right now, this position will be designated in England. As a Design Engineer the successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment and interpretation of our clients’ gas requirements and for the design of gas infrastructure, including meter installation! s and pressure reduction equipment, for the domestic and non-domestic markets in accordance with current legislation, regulations and IGEM specifications in order to secure adoption of the Company’s gas infrastructure designs.

Experience of compiling project tenders and commercial quotations is essential as is the ability to deliver design presentations to prospective clients and the provision of technical support / advice to existing clients as well as the Company’s operational staff.

Main Accountabilities:
To design and mobilise accepted sites for construction

Manage all aspects of the designs lifecycle, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations and specifications.

Work closely with our marketing department in order to meet client expectations

Provide comprehensive technical support to the Company’s operational staff.

Liaise with all relevant parties including sub-contractors, cons! ultants, customers, GDNO’s and IGT’s.

Conduct sit! e audit/ inspections of the Company’s operational activities.

Participate in gas emergency standby rota.
