Monitor and report deviations in actual against budgeted. - Maintaining a Quality Management System with all the analysis and related reporting tasks. Tasks 1. Daily monitoring for high risk accounts, (Suspense, Sundries, Income, Operational loss) making sure that amounts booked under said accounts are approved and passed according to the procudure manual and esclate as approperiate 2. Counter-Checking all the accounting activities i.e. voucher verification, reports preparation, call account and FOREX position and expenses booking and tracking of reconcilation items 3.Assisting in preparation of annual TFC Budget and monitoring of cost center expenses for TFC-UAE. Making sure to report any major deviation from the budget 4. Assisting all TFC staff by replying to all inquires related to accounting 5. Arrange to open new GL accounts with FCD & ITD after obtaining necessary approvals 6. Acts as center of communication between TFC-UAE and, Financial Control Dept, Reconciliation Dept., Administration, Central Processing Dept, ITD and other related communication with TFC ensuring the smooth flow of information from and to TFC, in order to avoid the distruction of processing activities 7. Monitors the NON-BAU’s balances and follow up with the concerned sections and escalates in case of need. 8. As part of QMS, prepares statistical reports about the processing activities. 9. As part of QMS, carry out random checking of data inputted in Trade Finance system – a particular number of transactions per month; to check the accuracy of the following: - Transaction amounts/ Commission rates/ Margin Amount/Expiry dates/ Liability booking as per Credit Approval and Customer application - An audit report for the same will be submitted as a tool for controlling the quality of data in the system. 10. As part of QMS, Maintains Customers Complain Log whether internal or external customers, gather all the case data, mainatin file, follow up resolution, Investigate the root causes for complains, give insight in deciding the recommeded corrective actions & follow up implementation according to the complain handling procedures published 11. As part of QMS, Maintains file for KPIs and analyze deviations from respective SLAs, report and escalate any deviations for recommeded actions 12. Handle the continous update of the polices and procedures & coordinate with the polices and procedures department regarding the updating of the polices and procedures manual with any changes approved by the H-TFC UAE and follow up matter until publication of said changes and circulation of the changes taken place to all concerned parties including giving presentations and arranging for training sessions about the new changes for all concerned staff. 13. Any other tasks assigned by the Manager, Quality & Accounting Controls-TFC or Head of TFC-UAE
