Purpose: Responsible for supporting the delivery of robust, commercially grounded and actionable consumer, market and competitor insight to increase the profitability of the business.
Assistant Strategic Insight Manager - The Role:
Work flexibly with colleagues in the Marketing & Commercial Insight team to deliver the groupÂ's objectives.
Collate and provide market, competitor and consumer insight to inform strategic decision making, utilising a combination of primary & secondary qualitative/quantitative sources.
Utilise strong understanding of methodologies and where best to apply.
Develop and sign off proposals, questionnaires and topic guides and attend fieldwork (where relevant).
Identify any operational and regulatory risks, escalating as appropriate.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and within specific budgets.
Ensure information systems are operated to the required standar! d to maintain accurate and secure records.
Assista! nt Strategic Insight Manager - The Person:
Educated to degree level and relevant professional qualifications (i.e. CIM, Marketing Society, MRS etc).
Ability to make complex concepts and analysis simple to understand and be able to translate data and information into actionable business insight.
Understanding and experience of qualitative and quantitative methodologies including questionnaire/topic guide design, robust sample sizes etc.
Commitment to excellence and customer focus.
Strong stakeholder management skills; ability to get things done and influencing skills.
Ability to influence and build trusted relationships with colleagues and third party partners
Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint with excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
High degree of energy, resilience, proactivity and willingness to drive for results.
Understanding of defining problems and solving them; ab! ility to deliver projects from end-to-end.
Confident and effective communication skills (both written and verbal).
Understanding of the commercial aims and objectives of British Gas
